Michael P. Adams, Writer
Michael P. Adams is a performer, writer, and producer. She is the creator/performer of solo shows Modern Love, and Polly Polly. Her full-length plays include Next to Him, I Will Miss You When You’re Gone, Cam Baby, A Girl Lives Alone and others. Her work has been developed or presented at Great Plains Theatre Conference, Roundabout Theatre, Premiere Stages, Kitchen Dog Theatre, the Toronto International Film Festival, and the Canadian Stage Festival of New Ideas and Creation, among others. As an actor, she has appeared in shows with Necessary Angel/Luminato, Tarragon Theatre, SummerWorks, Sudbury Theatre Centre, the NAC, and many times at the Toronto Fringe. She went to Juilliard.
Chris Millar, Director
Chris is a native Texan freshly returned and replanted from many years in Los Angeles. Chris studied acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse under Rick Podell, Chick Vennera, and Milton Katselas, and trained in improv at I0 West of Hollywood. He has acted, directed, and produced theater in Los Angeles and is a member of Sacred Fools Theater Co. In addition to stage work, Chris has written and directed short films, one of which progressed to final jury in USA Film Festival's National Short Film competition.
Jessica Moss, Playwright

Lauren Leblanc, Director
Lauren LeBlanc (Director, “Packing”) is a Dallas-based actor, writer, and educator. Locally, she’s performed with Casa Mañana, Circle Theatre, Second Thought Theatre, and Theatre Three. As an educator, she’s taught and directed for Broadway Dallas, Shakespeare Dallas, and in private master classes. Lauren studied at Texas State, the University of Louisville, and SUNY-Stony Brook. She's a member of Actors' Equity Association, the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and is represented by Kim Dawson Talent. Bill Brohaugh, Writer
Bill is the author of thousands of produced short-form radio scripts, written for the nationally syndicated radio personality Gary Burbank for 20+ years. The former editor of Writer's Digest magazine, Bill has authored published books and hundreds of magazine articles about writing and other topics, and spoken about writing many times to other writers.
Lisa Holt, Writer
Lisa is a retired pharmacist with a 40-year background in theatre. As a reed doubler, her focus is on musical theatre, where she performs frequently as a pit musician and serves as an orchestra manager. More recently she accidentally discovered she enjoys writing with Bill. The results of that prize-winning play collaboration have been fully produced or presented in staged readings on both coasts and many places between, which she thinks is cool.
Bill and Lisa are honored that A Light in Dark Places selected their work to help bring awareness to the impact and prevention of suicide through the accessibility of the performing arts.
Ale Fips, Director
Ale Fips is from Guadalajara, México. Ale is an actress, singer and producer that began her career at a very young age in shows for the FIL (International Book Fair) for more than 4 years. At age 15 she starred in the musical: El Principe Rana, performing more than 300 shows as princess Nadia. She moved to Mexico City playing a role on the Spanish version of Disney’s High School Musical. She has also been part of several TV series including Código Paranormal (LATV), La Rosa de Guadalupe, Como dice el Dicho (Univision) making a name for herself in Mexico, United States and other countries. She moved to the States in 2014 and Study at the Stella Adler Academy of acting LA. Her NYC credits include: “Seucy and Boto” “Undefined Fraction”(Loco 7 company); “Judgment on a Gray Beach” (La Mama, experimental theatre).

Morgana Wilborn, Director
MORGANA WILBORN (she/her/hers) was raised, and is a current resident of Dallas, TX (Stolen land once stewarded by the Caddo, Wichita, Comanche, Cherokee, Kickapoo, and Tawakoni). She is a proud graduate of the University of North Texas (BA, Theater), and The University of Houston (MA Theater Education). For the past 14 years, she has served the community as an arts educator/administrator. She currently served as the Managing Director of Bishop Arts Theatre Center (BATC), and Co-Managing Director at DNAWORKS LLC, Dialogue and Healing Through the Arts. She was the Director of Education at Dallas Theater Center (DTC) and continues as an Adjunct Professor of Theater and Humanities at Eastfield and El Centro College, and now University of North Texas, Dallas. Before serving for DTC and DNAWORKS, she served for 8 years as a theater director and instructor for Dallas ISD. She has directed and acted for the stage with companies such as Bishop Arts Theater Center, University of North Texas, TheaterMakers Studio, Kitchen Dog Theatre, Artstillery, SMU Meadows School of the Arts, Stage West Theater, Soul Rep Theatre, Cara Mia Theatre Company, Water Tower Theater, and House Party Theatre. She is also a certified Racial Healing practitioner. As a proud African American artist, educator, and activist, Morgana hopes to honor, uplift, and empower bodies of culture in her service to the community through mindful engagement and equitable collaboration.
